Gareth Kitching, Harold James played for England Internationals: 1 : 1913 I+ Harold Kitching was born on 6 May 1885 Played as a Lock for: Oundle School, Cambridge University (Blue 1910-1911), Blackheath, Barbarians Profession: N/k War service: Unit unknown, East African Field Force Remarks: Played for Cambridge University (0-24) v the 1912-1913 Springboks. He may have been an non-playing member of the Barbarians, though the Barbarian FC website lists an “A E Kitching” who played for Barbarians: v Penarth (0-3) v Cardiff (9-16) in 1912. He died on 17 March 1945
Not sure if this is the right person. Most records have the forward who played for England against Ireland in 1913 as Alfred Everley Kitching. He was born on 6 May, 1889 in Scarborough and died 17 March, 1945. in Bulmer. He attended Oundle School, Jesus College, Cambridge and won blues in 1910 and 1911. He played for Blackheath and the Brbarians and served in the East African Field Force.
