    who died age 19
    on 16 August 1915
    Eldest son of William H. and Daisy E. Boyd, of Glensavage, Blackrock, Co. Dublin.

    Many men who died in World War 1 are commemorated in the South section of Deansgrange Cemetery, Blackrock, Co. Dublin

    Among them is Harry Boyd of Glensavage, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. He was killed at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, Turkey on 16th August 1915. Nineteen years and nine months old, he was serving with "D" Company, 7th Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
