It's about time I said hello... I joined your site, (along with a few others) some weeks back. Unfortunately I neglected to "bookmark" and got a bit lost on the "inter-web." But I've finally found my way back. I'm from Liverpool in the UK, I've been interested in WWII since school. More recently, after visiting Normandy last year it's been all things D-Day and the battle for Normandy. I've been having a nosey around your site, and you have some very interesting threads. Oh yeah ... Hello!
Bout time we had a Scalley Welcome to the forum snake. Help me against all these damn Ozzies we have!
And what's wrong with Scousers then urqh ?? Hi Blacksnake .... amazing what a trip to the battlefields etc can do isn't it ?? Annie
Good-day Blacksnake, welcome to the forum. Don't take any notice of Kitty as us Aussie's are all good blokes
Errrr...nothing...I was just having a private dig at me old mate Blacksnake...We're both scoucers...except I'm not yet born again... Left on joining up and only visit now when the alternative command structure agrees to drive up there.
OK, I'll admit it, Kirkby...And yes I have got your hubcaps...well I left them with Blacksnake, if you need them back he will offer a good price.
Welcome Blacksnake, Don't worry about us Aussies. Kitty loves us really. We tend to push the Aussie barrow as no one else will. My interests are North Africa, Pacific, Aussies in the RAF, the RAAF contribution to Bomber Command etc and the collection of RAAF Headstone/Memorial photos of the 11,038 Aussies who died in the RAAF/RAF during WW2. Where do your interests lie? Cheers
Well ... Thank you all for such a warm welcome. Annie ... Nice to know me an my old mate Urqh are now a trio ...:grouphug: Spidge ... Interests mainly lie in the ETO, D-Day and the European Air War.
I meant to say ...... Urqh said you had my hubcaps .... just so you know ... I still have your bricks !!!!!!!!!
That's OK Annie, they're yours to keep... impride8lr: Are you AWOL (Absent With Out Liverpool) like Urqh? Spreading the Scouse "wit" to the masses. I'm still here, Wavertree-L15 at the moment.
