I am researching my late fathers time in the RAF during ww2. He served as a w/op in a Lancaster of 35 squadron based at Graveley,Cambs, as part of PFF. He was demombed having been awarded DFC and final rank of flt.lt.
Any info on 35 squadron would be gratefully received.
    thanks

    Hi Paul

    Have you seen this site:

    Sqn Histories 31-35_P ?

At the bottom of the section on 35 sqdn there is the address of the 35 sqdn association, and an email link.

    Welcome to the forum Paul.

The squadron association as Adrian has said is the best starting point for contact.

I know there were in excess of 30 Aussies killed while flying with 35sq.

    Good luck with your research.

    Cheers

Welcome tot he forum paul. As already said, hit the association hard as there will be a few of the flyers left.
