Hello, I'm sure a few of you will recognise me from the GWF. In general, my main interests are Shropshire casualties and related casualties. My personal database contains over 7,500 men (both wars) from various memorials in Shropshire, i'm happy to do any lookups. I also have around 96% of all Shropshire war graves photographed, again feel free to ask. My main interest in WW2 at the moment is Airmen who died in crashes in Shropshire. Any help welcomed. Neil
Hello Neil, and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are a very accomplished researcher. I hope we can help with your airforce database. Ask away
Hi Neil, Welcome to "chat". Neil has been a great help to me with my headstone requirements RAAF/AFC project. Look forward to your posts. Cheers Geoff
Hi Geoff, It was good to help you, gives all my work some meaning. I started in 2006, but only recently have i 'gone public' Although still not got over that day to the Church Island in Anglesey Wales. Neil
Welcome to the forum, see you are another one of Geoff's shanghaid crew. i got stung for the Blacon cemetery at Chester. Geoff did you get the ones at Alderley Edge sorted? i can't remember
G'day Neil and welcome. Looking forward to reading your posts and am intrigued by trip to the Church Island. What happened?
Thanks you all for welcomes Andy, Well i visit North Wales quite often. As a result i decided that the next time i'm up there i'll go to a churchyard in Anglesey for Spidge. Bearing in mind i think it was August, nothing but rain, from Telford all the way over the Menai Bridge. Many a flooded road over Snowdonia Neil
Thanks Neil. Have fond memories of Snowdonia but have only been there in June and October and missed the rain completely. Lovely part of the world.
