Hi, I'm a 28 year old female student studying countryside management in England. I'm fascinated by all aspects of WW2 history, but mainly by the RAF/Commonwealth bomber war in Western Europe. I'm looking forward to learning a few things about WW2.
I'm a Taurean, who's looking for someone with a GSH, must have own teeth and love reptiles.......... ..........oh sorry wrong forum. Hi people, here's hoping for an excellent forum. Cheers K p.s. hi kitty, fancy bumping into you here!
Hi, My name is spidge and my interests are WW2 as well as History and Geography. I am from Australia and like to represent Australia's activity in WW2, especially North Africa and the Pacific as well as the contribution of the RAAF and the RAN and their sailors in all theatres. My present project is the cataloguing of all 10,835 RAAF headstones around the world so I am always looking for assistance from people in the 65 countries where they are buried. If you can assist, please let me know.
G'day guys, Kyt asked me over here so blame him! Hi, my name is Andy and it's been two hours since my last post elsewhere! I live in Western Australia. Have been fascinated by WWII since my Dad and I built a model of the Bismarck way back in 83 when I was 7. Am interested in all aspects of the war but main interest is the aviation side of things, particularly the RAAF's contribution but also everything else. Probably the weakest when it comes to the Russian front but it'll get there. Am 30, almost 31, married to a great, devilishly evil and fun girl and the proud "father" of a toy poodle who runs the house. Currently own two old Bedfords and have started up an online magazine about the old truck scene in Australian and New Zealand. Finally, can't believe Spidge is up to 26 posts already!
Oh! When I said pop over it was like when people meet on holiday and say that "we should stay in touch" I wasn't expecting you to take me up on the invite Nice to see you've moved over from the dark side - but I must warn everyone else that having Andy as a friend is an expensive business - he keeps recommending books that are hard to resist
Or do as i do an ignore every bloody word he says. Works every time Now then, who wants to try and beat Spidge's post score?
I was thinking about it but there's no chance, Kitty. I even saw a double post by Spidge yesterday! I think he's determined to stay in the lead and fair enough too.
Only setting up for those who follow, my friend from the other side of the rabbit proof fence. (is the double post still there?)
I think so. It was your Brazilian AF post. Lot of good that fence did. Saw one of the little sods hopping around in suburbia a couple of nights ago.
