Just stumbled onto this site (after being nosey about what yellow user names meant on WW1talk!). I'm a member of quite a few WW1 & 2 forums so it's nice to see quite a few familiar names on here - one cannot be a member of enough forums I think - there's always that gem hiding away somewhere on one of them! My WW2 interest mainly lies in the war in France and Flanders in May/June 1940 - an obsession which has resulted in a book (as yet unpublished as I've been asked to expand on it into a slightly different area of combat too) - but I've also got a deep interest in the fighting in Belgium, Holland and Germany 1944/5 due, I think, to an overdose of family holidays to the areas! I also have an interest in most aspects of WW1 (which is quite handy really, as it's mainly this interest that pays the bills!) but , for myself, I think I'd rather read a book on "Fall Gelb" than "Michael" any day!!!
A very warm welcome to the familiar CV. Glad to see your new horizons being undertaken to the "new" forum (s). We are only young in comparison (not yet 2) however we welcome your professional additions. Cheers Geoff
We like nosey people ...... so welcome !! Can I just say though ...... that you won't be yellow unless your name is the same on both sites .... just thought I'd mention it !!
Nobody ever asks me anythink nicely Welcome, Hill. PM me your username over on WW1Talk and I'll change you to a cross-member (does that sound as bad as it looks?!!).
