Just to say Hello. Some of you may recognise me from *** - WW2Talk and various other relevant military forums. My main interest is in recording female casualties; service and related organisations; from all campaigns, it is not a commercial project it is for my own personal and private interest. At the moment I do not have any requests but they will come in time. My query now is that at 11.31am I posted my introduction. At 1.02pm I sent a query asking why my intro did not appear in the New Posts thread. At 14.44pm I logged on and found that there had been no post between 0855am and 14.00pm so I am still wondering why my Intro does not appear in the NEW POSTS where all can see it not only the moderators??? Forgive me if I appear to be a little thick! Tony

I can find myself on the initial page under WELCOME & INTRODUCTIONS but I am sure most people go straight to NEW POSTS when they log on like I do. Anyway will wit until Kyt comes along perhaps I am missing something Tony
Tony, your introduction will only appear as new posts to other members, not yourself. As the system logs your IP and times, it will recognise when you posted and your return, and only show you posts since your last visit. BTW, if you mean that you would like straight to the front page, rather than the forums' portal then this is the link: http://ww1talk.co.uk/ rather than this http://ww1talk.co.uk/forums/
