    Hello,

A little about me, I'm the mother of 5 and currently an adult student working on my college degree. My third son is in the Marine Corps. He had one tour of duty in Iraq and is now at Quantico training other Marines.

I'm taking a class on Western Civilization and I need to do a brief interview with someone who served in WWII.

Would anyone be willing to answer a few questions for me? If you are I would really appreciate it.

Can you tell me a little about yourself now and then answer any of the questions below that you feel comfortable answering.

Thank you for your service to your country and for taking the time to introduce yourself.

    Sincerely
    Wendy

    1. Your name and what role did he/she play in the war? Observer? Active service? War production? Homefront? Civilian government service?

    2. How did your subject get involved in that role? Accidentally? Voluntarily? Involuntarily? And what were your motives?

    3. What is your worse memory of the war?
What was your best memory and why?

    4. What was your understanding for the purpose of the war?

    5. How did you view the enemy during the war?
How do you view the enemy today?

    6. Do you believe that the same kind of threats exist today? Could we end up doing it all over again?
