I'm looking for Henry Cooper born August 17th 1909 in Liverpool - years ago we had a photo and on his band it said HMS Hood .... for years we thought he had gone down with her but then I found out he didn't !! I found this sailor on the H.M.S. Hood Crew List Cooper H. Able Seaman Unknown 1923/1924 3e and I checked Royal Naval Seamen (1853 - 1923) but I can't find him !
