is it a ww2 coat

    Hello !
    I am not sure if i can post it here but moderator move it if i am wrong .
    I found a picture of my father last week in a box i picked up ,in the picture he is photograph in somewhere in canada (he never went overseas ) my question is the coat he is wearing is it army ww2 issue clothing or ? i never found anything like it yet . Thanks for your help

    Could be one of the American issue coats? Looks very similar in design. Can you do a higher res image for us on the scanner? Increase the DPI to about 300?

    here at 300 dpi hope it help
    i learn not long ago that canadian used m1 helmet at some point but i was sure they used clothing only from british or canadian made

    Hmm am not sure, it could just be a civilian coat he wore off camp. A lot did do that.
