    Perhaps your reference should have said "including 1 in France".

    Orlov's victories were:

    an Austro-Hungarian Lloyd C.II of Flik 9 near Pelikovze, Russia, on 8 June 1916;

    an Austro-Hungarian Aviatik B.III of Flik 27 near Podgaitsky, Russia, on 25 June 1916;

    a two-seater near Zlota-Lipca, Russia, on 4 October 1916;

    an unidentified aeroplane on the Western Front while flying with Escadrille N.3 'Les Cicognes' of the French Air Service on 24 January 1917; and

    a German Albatros C-type of FlAbt (A) 242 near Prysup, Russia, on 21 May 1917.

    He was killed in action on 4 July 1917 while flying a Nieuport the 7th Fighter Detachment against four enemy fighters. One of his lower wings collapsed under the strain of combat and he crashed from 3000 metres.
