Gareth Bruce-Lockhart, John Harold played for Scotland Internationals: 2: 1913 W- ; 1920 E- (1dg) John Bruce-Lockhart was born on 4 March 1889, in Beith, Ayrshire. Played as a Centre for: Sedburgh School, Cambridge University (Blue 1910), London Scottish, Barbarians Profession: Schoolmaster War service: 2nd Lieutenant, Seaforth Highlanders from 24 August 1917, Mentioned in Despatches. (In the Cambridge University War List, he is shown as Lockhart, John Harold Bruce). Remarks: Father of Internationals Rab and Logie Bruce-Lockhart. Nephew of International Stewart Bruce. Played for Barbarians: v Cheltenham (9-3) in 1909. Cricket for Scotland as a right hand bat and a leg break googly bowler. He died on 4 June 1956, in Marylebone, London

Andy Thanks for the extra data on the man. I suppose that he must be a relation of Robert Bruce Lockhart, the British agent ion Russia during the Revolution. Regards Gareth
