Gareth Dods, John Henry played for Scotland Internationals: 8 : 1895 W+ I+ E+ ; 1896 W- I= E+ ; 1897 I+ E- John Dods was born on 30 September 1875 Played as a Forward for: Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh Academicals Profession: Factor Remarks: Brother of F P Dods 1879-1910 (1 cap). War service: Civilian contractor to the Royal Navy He was killed on 30 December 1915, when the Warrior class Cruiser HMS Natal blew up at Cromarty, with 404 casualties and 299 survivors. He is not listed in the CWGC records due to his not being in the armed services.
