    This is one of a series of posts to mark the international Rugby players who died during The Great War. If anyone has further information on the men concerned, I’d be most grateful if it could be added to the thread.

    Dufau, Julien played for France

    Internationals: 4: 1912 I- (1t) S- W- E – (1t)

    Julien Dufau was born either on 16 February 1886 or in 1888 in Biarritz

    Played as a Wing for: Biarritz OI

    War service: Sous-lieutenant, Regiment d’Infanterie Coloniale

    He was killed in action in late December 1916 in Niger.
