Hi Everyone... I'm Kate and I love history. My main passion is the Civil War era, but I have an interest in Vietnam as well. Even did some WWII weekends and "got all dressed up" (Ike and Mamie Eisenhower farm event for the re-enactments and WWII Weekend, etc.) in authentic clothing from the era. I'm from the east coast of the U.S., so many of the Civil War battlefields are "within reach" and I take full advantage of that whenever I can. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts on these battles/wars, and hopefully learning things I hadn't known before as well.
