Lambis Englezos is the main driver/researcher behind the find and is, thankfully, credited by all and sundry for his work. Have seen him on TV several times and he is a modest bloke but I'm in awe of just what he has done. Well done that man!

The finding of the mass grave in Fromelles has ignited a further interest in WWI for me which is a scary thought given I know next to nothing about it yet the one battlefield I have been too is one from WWI (Gallipoli). I'm in awe of the network of sites, cemeteries, woods etc etc that dot France and Belgium. It all seems so accessible too.

Lambis is certainly someone to consider for Australian of the Year rather than another sports star!
