Lt C E L Skedden was flying SE 5a C6445 at the time of his death. The aeroplane broke up at 1000 feet, then crashed and burnt. Previously, on 21 April 1918 he was uninjured when forced to land due to combat damage while flying SE 5a D269. Gareth
