Hi, i am rose taylor (tatt), on here looking for info on my dad george tatt 1911-1984, service number 5882927 (private). he is listed on my late brothers birth certificate as being in the regt in 1941. I am just 62, still working for TESCO, but on a count down to my retirement next may 206 days to go!!. i live in cheshire, have done for years, but originate from ST. Neots in Cambridgeshire. Got more time on my hands now, and having done my family tree, i really want to get more info on my dad, his family and his service days. I seem to have got lots on my mums side. ok, any help very much appreciated. i do know i can order his service records, but wondered if there was anywhere else i could look plse? anyone? n
