Remember that the Internet is global. Your problems are not ours - we have enough of our own! In Southern Australia we're faced with temperatures in the 40s, and associated bushfires, railway lines buckling due to the heat, power failures due to demand by air conditioners, etc.

I was snowed in yesterday with 12 inches and nil roads gritted, nil trains and nil buses....Today trains were every 2 hrs to Waterloo with delays of course! so I did 4 hrs at work....Left at 0730, got in at 1200 left at 1600 and have just walked through the door...

The Torygraph weather forecast is interesting for the rest of the week for the south though...

And up here in Cheshire/Staffs/Derbyshire border country we have a mix. My home town now has no snow as it all melted last night and today. Two miles away there are drifts. The nearest city is somewhat snowed in as the council won't grit it to save money.

    Just makes life more interesting.

Oh yes, I've been out in it all day. Still deciding if I have toes or not.
