What a shame we cannot see the monument. It actually doesn't sound very inspiring to me. I know I sound like Victor Meldrew again but it is hard to imagine people standing in awe in front of a block of stone encasing a tv screen in years to come (ok nothing will quite match "David" or "The Thinker" for me).

The title for the article is one of my bug-bears. Were they Nazis who were gay? I would have thought not since they were persecuted. Not every German was a Nazi. Monument to gay Nazi victims smashed | NEWS.com.au
