Every so often a band/singer does a cover that is quite good, but on the whole they're pretty cr*p. One to Love Vanilla Fudge - You Keep Me Hanging On (the live version is even better than the album one - 30 seconds longer and more passionate) One to Hate Kim Wilde - You Keep Me Hangin' On -------------- One to Love Shocking Blue - Venus One to Hate Bananarama - Venus ---------- One to Like Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues One to Love Blue Cheer - Summertime Blues
And a couple of those raraties - two versions, both of which I love: Soft Cell - Tainted Love Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love (and yes, I'm a Manson fan) ------------- Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams ..
One of my favourites is Red Red Wine by UB40. I like the video because they are leaping about an old trident 3E!
I have both of them on MP3 on my PC! Thanks for the links to you - tube I will watch them when I get home from work!:firefire:
In as much as i am a Elton John fan, I never did like his version of the song. He could not get the raunchiness that the song needed!
Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting Aha! Youtube is working again! Finally found th Nickelback version, with a bit of a crap video of one of their concerts with it, but the cover is playing. Elton John Nickelback
One to Love YouTube - The Zombies - She's Not There / Tell Her No One to go OMG, NO!! YouTube - UK Subs - She's Not There (Zombies Cover - T.O.T.P. 1979)
