I am obsessed with World War II history visited the National World War II Museum in New Orleans last month. This has been the highlight of my trip. In fact, it is now probably my favourite museum of all time.

This museum is designated by the U.S. Congress as the "official" World War II museum in the United States. It is HUGE: it includes many buildings that are several stories high. It took me four days to completely take in what it offered. The galleries have exhibits starting from the rise of Hitler and ending with the aftermath of the war. Descriptive information and interactive exhibits makes the journey through the galleries unforgettable.

This museum is a must-visit for any history buff. I have learned more in this museum about World War II than all my history courses in school combined. It contains invaluable detailed information about the war that you will certainly find nowhere else in the world.
