Hello All, just saying hello I have been researching my own family history for over twelve years now and have recieved loads of fantastic photos and infomation over the years. I am still waiting for my fathers army records from the MOD since august of last year. I am fortunate also to have the full service record ( thankfully not destroyed ) of my grt grandfather Timothy Harrington but sadly no photo. His regiment was the pioneer corps. I also have the medal role of my own grandfather ( records destroyed ) Henry Ault RGA, but a fantastic photo of him in uniform. Isnt it a shame the army didnt think to duplicate the 1st world war records for ordinary servicemen. I hated history at school but as an adult i find it so facinating now, what is it they say " education is wasted on the young ". Sue Ault
