    Just to introduce myself. I was born in 1934 and spent my boyhood years during the Second World War in South East London, Bermondsey to be precise, so I have first hand knowledge of the Blitz. Interestingly enough I was in Kent, Hop Picking with my aunt during the autum of 1940 so as a spectator I have first hand knowledge of the Battle of Britain too. I have degrees in History, Economic History and Literature from Melbourne University and have keen interest in World War One.
