Thats right, they have released PDF files of the complete set of Nimitz's Gray Books. This has been on my reading list for a while now and am in the process of trying to find hard cover printed copies but am also thinking of just printing my own from these files. I have almost finished half of volume 1 but like you said it requires time. There is alot of cool info in there.
