OMG Sept 1944

This is some footage from St.Michielsgestel, filmed by a Dutch civilian, (remember that this town was still under occupation), of Planes going over on Operation Market Garden. Not very clear I am afraid, but can you Imagine how these people felt, thinking they were about to be liberated, only to have to wait another month or more. Am still in process of trying to enhance it more.

 

That's a great film 51H - I can imagine the excitement (but fear of being caught with the camera too).
