    I'm wondering if this young man would even have had time to serve ? .... can't find anything on him ... can anybody else please ? :confused:

No. 46 T.D.S., South Carlton, England, July 20, 1918; 2nd Lt., December 20, 1918; retd from O.S. and discharged August, 1919; returned to College.

    It looks like he graduated from training at No 46 TDS in December 1918, so he wouldn't have seen active service.
