Sorry Spidge - I just noticed this request. How far along are you and where do the photos go to?

Which states are 100% done and which are partially done / unstarted??

I am based in QLD, working at BNE airport - I travel around BNE and interstate regularly so I might be able to help a bit. In fact I drove past the Ipswich cemetery today and commented to my wife about the military section.

How good do the photos have to be? I have a digital camera that I take happy snaps with but my photographic skills are not breathtaking.

Anyhoo, let me know if I can help and give me the plot details etc for the BNE cemeteries.

    Cheers

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for the offer - I will put a list together for Brisbane Metro. Can you forward me your email by PM so I can send the spreadsheet.

This is an example of what I am looking for in style.

I did hope to have them available for a website to coincide with BoB day 2010 however this may be 2011or 2012.

I want to make them all (11,038) available on the website Free of Charge and when completed, donate them to the RAAF Museum at Point Cook.

I am also collecting the photos of all the headstones/memorial photos of the Aussies in the AFC/RFC/RNAS/RAF from WW1 (334)

I have over 8,000 which is not bad since July 2007.

Northern Territory is the only one completed. I did it in February 2008.

I have completed quite a few in Victoria however time for me in the past year (to get away) is virtually non existent. (Easier to get a photo from France over the internet than one 60 miles from Melbourne)

I have the 31 at Bundaberg, 2 of 3 at Mackay, All of Woombye, Cloncurry and Clermont. I was promised the 101 from Townsville War Cemetery however it never eventuated.

I have just been sent the 234 from Malta, and Germany (221 Berlin Cemetery, 80 Beckingen, 262 Durnbach, and 334 Reichswald Forest) There are 1399 in Germany in total however I have offers for Hamburg, Hanover and Kiel.

I just got onto an ex RAF chap on the internet who has photographed all of Malaysia (146) as well as Myanmar (Burma) (34).

    Cheers

    Geoff
