This site was created by the National Museum of American History. It is an online exhibit which provides materials relating to the history of American involvement in wars from 1775-2000. These include the First World War, Second World War, Vietnam War, Korean War and the Cold War. The site includes a chronology of the conflicts, plus text and multimedia clips that provide insight into the American experience of war and its impact on US society. The site also includes a teaching and learning section with quizzes, suggested classroom activities and worksheets for children and students.
