    Hi all

Many of you will know about rafcommands forum, and the excellent community that exists on it. The range and depth of knowledge of its members is astounding and it's the one other forum that I visit everyday. The members have helped me on a number of queries in the past (and I hope I have been of help to other members)

The one unfortunate thing about the forum was that it was constantly inundated with spam (as people did not need to be registered to post).

Ross and the team worked very hard to keep spam disruption to a minimum but as everyone knows, some still gets through.

So Ross et al have changed rafcommands to a similar board to ours. This should be more secure, and allow for a few more facilities for members. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Ross and everyone on the new look rafcommands the very best of luck in the new venture, and look forward to them continuing the great work they do on RAF research.

    Good Luck guys :clapping:

Indeed. I'm a very new member there but the amount of knowledge in most of the posts is astounding. It is the place to go to have your relevant questions answered!

I'm not sure how the new site will develop but the old one was very much a message and answer message board. So specific questions about aircraft/crew/unit etc. And it seemed to a very occarance when a question wasn't/couldn't be answered by at least one member.

I was always amazed how feely people shared their own hard work and research with others. It reflects so well on the RAF enthusiast community.
