    Hi Kbak,
    Donald Padgett was / would have been my great uncle - my Dad's uncle, and whom my Dad is named after, I was wondering why you chose those 3 above? are you related etc, just curious trying to find as much info about him as possible.

    Thanks for the message.
    I am not related to any of those brave men, but they come from the same regiment as my Grandfather who also sadly lost his life fighting for his country.
    I started the Web site for the 53rd in memory of those who died and survived and for families to find out about what happened to their love ones and also for the general public to see and hear their stories through them and their families.
