I am on this site to find information on a newly discovered relative found during researching my family history. None of my family knew he existed until we obtained a copy of the 1901 and 1911 censuses and dug a little deeper. I found out that he served in the Royal Engineers Tunnelling Unit during WW1 and also his service number. However, on searching for him using other military sites I thought I had located him but after paying a monthly subscription I discovered that the person the sites identified (even when inputting his service number) was not the correct person hence my request on this site. Hopefully I can find some or all of the information I need with the help of the members here.
