I was looking for a resource page to add this to ... but didn't see one ( though it could be my eyes !! :noidea: ) Open Directory - Science: Technology: Aerospace: Aeronautics: History: World War II
That is one impressive list of links. It has a very good cross section of sites, and though I haven't checked them all they do seem to be live. Nice one Annie (We don't have a resources section as we found that there's usually a forum that covers the subject. in this case I've moved to War In The Air)
As I am always looking for information on Aussies in the RAF/RAAF, I came across the loss of JA-691 on one of the resource links. This is the opening statement: I wonder in what context this statement was made as RAAF 463sq was involved in the deaths of at least (3) lads at Aabenraa. I think he has decided to use the generic "RAF" to cover all aircrew, including the Commonwealth airmen, and the seven Polish Air Force graves. The "all but two" probably refers to the fact that there are two Royal Navy graves there too.
