Gareth Duncan, Robert Francis Hugh played for England Internationals: 3 : 1922 I+ F= S+ Robert Duncan was born on 10 June 1896 Wenvoe, Glamorgan Played as a Lock/prop for: Cardiff University, Guy’s Hospital, Barbarians, Middlesex Profession: Sales representative War service: Temporary Second Lieutenant from 6 December 1914, later Captain, 16th (Cardiff City) Battalion, The Welsh Regiment, 115th Brigade, 38th (Welsh) Division; Mentioned in Despatches Remarks: Son of R T Duncan (Cardiff, Barbarians). Played for Barbarians: v Cardiff (5-6) v Newport (0-36) in 1920; v Cardiff (10-5) v Swansea (3-11) in 1921. Served during the 1939-1945 War as a Lieutenant Colonel, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, in India and the Far East. He died on ?
