Gareth Campbell, Samuel Burnside Boyd played for Ireland Internationals: 12 : 1911 E+ S+ W- F+ ; 1912 F+ E- S+ W+ SA- ; 1913 E- S- F+ Samuel Campbell was born on 29 June 1899 Played as a Forward for: Foyle College, Edinburgh University, Derry Profession: Medicine War service: Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps from 16 December 1914. As a Temporary Captain, he relinquished his commission on 16 December 1918 and was granted the rank of Major. He died on 1 March 1971
