    I'm not sure if this is my Great Uncle or not ?? I thought he was in the South Lancs ... but how many men are there around with that name ?? his real name was Thomas Kingsley Cooper but during the Boer War he went by Kingsley .... I'd appreciate any help please !

    Does any of the following ring any bells?

    Kingsley Cooper
    1 Eaton St, Prescot
    Age on enlistment: 40yrs 6 months
    Occupation: Office telegraphist
    Previous service: South Lancs Pensioner
    Enlisted 18th March 1915 at St Helens. Joined at Morecambe on the 19th
    Posted to 30th Div Signal Coy, County Palatine Royal Engineers
    Next of kin: Priscilla Cooper (nee O'Dowd) (Wife)

    Previous service: Pte 3683 South Lancs Reg. Joined 14th March 1892.
