I know this is post ww2 but can anyone identify the plane. My aunty is in the foreground . She was with her husband in Singapore after the war and was later based in R.A.F. Lyneham as a Hercules pilot.
It looks like a DeHaviland Vampire. This was the second jet fighter ever to enter service with the RAF
I don't know anything about identifying jets but that's a great picture. Thanks for sharing it. Is that your aunts husband leaning into the cockpit?
