Soldiers War Insurance

    Just yesterday I was checking an Insurance list for WW1 soldiers ... so they had to pay for themselves then too John !! :headhurt:

    I must say it took me by surprise ... I'd never have thought about it !!

    In WW2. We the Americans were issued a $10,000.00 insurance policy. It was paid by our Government.

    After the Presidential election, the Obama administration tried to push a bill through requiring each combat wounded soldier to pay for his medical care from his private insurance.. There was a huge outcry and the bill was withdrawn.. ( THIS IS A FACT)
