Circa 1914-1918 .... seems funny listening to some of these - I even know the words to some of them !!

even more depressing, i remember singing some of them in the NAAFI in '70!

 

Ah ! ... but were they the right words Jerome ??

 

Bearing in mind that singalongs and massive consumption of alcohol went hand in glove, the words were probably right for the time and place!
