Stalag Luft

Hey all,

Here is another thread that is related to "S for Sugar". This time, I am doing research on the German P.O.W. camps, specifically the Stalag Luft camps. Would it be okay to create a totally fictional camp for RAF/USAAF aircrew?

 

A fictional one would be ok but have a look at the list first:

Yeah, I'm doing my English project on Stalag Luft III and "The Great Escape". I have had a good look at that list Kyt. Now, I wonder where a good location for the camp can be?

 

Probably best to plot where the real ones were, find a gap, investigate any nearby towns for context etc and go for it!

 

So, basically find any towns that had no prison camp, and create one for it then Andy?

 

That's what I reckon. Or put your camp near a real one. Up to you.

 

Would it be alright to have my camp, "Stalag Luft XXXIX-A", maybe several miles away from Stalag Luft III?
