HMS CRESCENT was an old cruiser 1892, selected for depot ship duties in February 1916 and fitted out on 25 Mar 16.

Submarine depot ship at Scapa Flow 1917 to August 1918. From August 1918-1919, CRESCENT was the depot ship for the 3rd Submarine Flotilla at Rosyth. From 9 May 19 at Oban.

In 1918 to 1921 51 men died in CRESCENT - mostly to disease - but six were accidental drownings.

    Whatever happened there ??
