Thirty years ago today i was celebrating the first day after the Argentine surrender at Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands. The men that fell at Goose Green and Wireless Ridge were very special to me, i had fought and lived beside them. Today, thirty years on i still feel honoured to of been part of their lives, to of served with them, to of known them. Everyone of the 2nd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment felt the loses of these brave men, none more than myself.
