The story behind this picture is - an Anzac soldier ran out of his trench and ran towards the Turkish trench but he was alone and got shot - between the Turkish and the Anzac trenches he lay bleeding and no one could get to him - because there was a tense stand off .... then a Turkish soldier got a white clothing article tied it to his rifle and got out of the trench and got the wounded Anzac trooper and carried him to the Anzac trench ! No one seems to knows who this man was - do you ?
