Gareth Bevan, Thomas Sidney played for Wales and Great Britain Wales Internationals: 1: 1904 I- Great Britain Internationals: 4 : 1904 A+ A+ A+ NZ- Thomas Bevan was born in Morriston on 2 May 1877. Played as a Forward for: Ardwyn Grammar School, Morriston, Swansea, Glamorgan Profession: Schoolmaster or metal broker then stockbroker. War service: Second Lieutenant, 1/6th (Glamorgan) Battalion, Welsh Regiment, 84th Brigade, 28th Division, later 1st Division. He died in Swansea on 17 October 1933

British Isles - 1904 to Australia (3 caps) & New Zealand (1 cap). Thomas Sidney Bevan was a forward who made 1 appearance for Wales versus Ireland 1904. He also toured with the British Isles team in 1904 and gained 4 caps. Sid made his debut for Swansea in 1897. He also played for Glamorgan. During the 1st World War he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 6th battalion of the Welch Regiment. Sid Bevan (2 May 1877 – 17 October 1933) was a Welsh rugby union player who represented Wales and the British Lions. Bevan played club rugby for Swansea, joining the club in 1897 and it was while he was playing for Swansea he would be selected to play for Wales. His first and only cap was on March 2, 1904 at Balmoral Showgrounds in Belfast against Ireland. In the same year Bevan was selected to represent Bedell Sivright's British Lions on their tour of Australia and New Zealand. He played in four of the tests. During World War I, Bevan was a second lieutenant in the 6th battalion of the Welch Regiment.
