Thomas Joseph Ferrigan died in 1962, aged 80, Morningside, Edinburgh ( he seems to be the only one and it would fit with the 1891 census )

He was born 31 May 1881, Canongate. His parents were James Ferrigan, cork cutter and Mary, maiden surname McDonald.

Parents married June 5th 1877, Haddington

Parents were married 'according to the Forms of the Catholic Church' so it looks as if it's the correct one.

Google books has about 3 references to him. - have to source the books to get the info as they only refer to him.
