The plane in these pictures is still officially the 'Air
Vehicle Number 1', a prototype, on board the USS George
Washington CVN-73 for catapult fit checks..

It will be known as the F/A-37. Although specs are
classified, it is believed to be Mach 3.5 (top speed in the
    Mach 4 range), super-cruise stealth
    fighter/bomber/interceptor with approximately a 4,000nm
    range. Awesome!

Check out the Navy test pilot in the cockpit of the

    F/A-37...LT Kara Wade... Go girl!

    Hurray for our side.

This exclusive was bought to you by The Aviator.

You saw it first on WW2 Chat, the leading Military forum on the internet.

Um, in the first pic, there's a guy next to the starboard wing without headgear on. Big no-no for deck crew, especially aircraft handlers. Secondly, the final pic looks remarkably like Jessica Biel who, remarkably, played a pilot called Kara Wade in the movie Stealth...sorry to deflate any balloons.

Leading military forum? No. Leading WWII forum? In the process!

In fact Andy, it was just a fun hoax and 'is' Jessica Biel.
I have to say here though.
    This forum a military forum.

My description of our forum as being the leading forum was just giving us a fun free kick. OK?

My apologies TA, it's not often I get to debunk something that appears to be newsworthy as I'm often sucked in by such things and need to put the brakes on before I get carried away.

I'll be the first to admit I don't know it all and never will so that was not the intention of the post. Perhaps if I had closed with "so I reckon this is a hoax" I would have explained my angle better? I think I'll stick to things from the 40s!

Apologies for any offense caused as none was intended.

The Northrop F-19A Specter appears to be another aircraft that is the favourite of forum conspiracies and model makers, but there's never been any evidence that it existed.
