Just when you thought the trains would run on time for once... Seems some dill, whilst picking up a package at the UPS depot in the old North Road storage sheds, failed to engage either the handbrake/gears/brain and his 4x4 rolled down the embankment onto the newly reopened high speed west coast mainline. There it was promptly hit by a local sprinter train which derailed to the side, spinning the 4x4 onto the other track, where it was promptly hit by the Bristol to Manchester express (Branson will be pleased). Now I live about 2 miles from this, i was in the house at the time and had nothing to do with it. honest. What i do want to know is why do the BBC think we are in the Midlands?!:frusty:
