Not sure if any of of British Veterans know about this but if they served prior to 1994 they are entitled to a 'Veterans Lapel Badge' from the MOD. If you happen to be a Veteran you can apply to the website www.veterans-uk.info/vets_badge_badge.htm

Its a very easy form to fill in and can be done online. Just download the form and email it back to them. Do not click the link as it does not work, copy it into another browser page and it should work, or put into google defence veterans agency.

    Take care all

    Hi Sniper

Thanks for the info. I've moved the thread to General as it is WW2/Veterans related.

    Hi Kyt,

Not just WW2 veterans but anyone who served up until 1994, gosh now i do feel old, being considered a veteran by the MOD.

    Cheers

I do not know if they still do it, but I am entitled to a RAF form 1250 Identity Card with Retired across the middle!
