This site has been created by the National Archives (UK). It provides free access to a collection of podcasts made on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the ending of the First World War. They comprise readings of archival documents giving insight into the viewpoints of different individuals involved in the 1914-1918 war. They include extracts from the diary of Field Marshal Douglas Haig in the final weeks of the war; war diaries from German and British soldiers, correspondance from employees of the Great Western Railway on active service and accounts from war casualties. Copyright and technical information is displayed on the website.
